Liveright Foundation

THE LIVERIGHT FOUNDATION is an organisation dedicated to lowering the number of unhealthy South Africans. It works to build health and fitness awareness in needy communities, ultimately promoting an active lifestyle. This foundation also strives to upskill youths by helping them pursue a career in the fitness industry and highlighting an opportunity for growth and earning.

SUNfit is THE LIVERIGHT FOUNDATION’s first community project, running since 2006. During April, May and June 2015, a total of 25 SUNfitĀ Go Jozi Healthy Street Fairs were provided to the Johannesburg community absolutely FREE! These fairs offered valuable health tools and information to the areas that needed them most, with friends and families enjoying an invigorating selection of supervised fitness classes, healthy tasters, important health screenings and other important wellness wares.

In June 2016, the SUNfit offerings continued with a month of FREE SUNfit sessions across the Johannesburg wards that need them the most. Each week, a total of 20 sessions of free, supervised fitness training were held, with promising attendance and eager participants proving that health education and services continue to be a necessity in growing communities.
