Lifestyle and wellness expert, Lisa Raleigh, has been an exercise specialist for more than 15 years, with her specialities including wellness, digestion, stress management, obesity and, more recently, fitness technology. Renowned for her television roles as the blue team trainer on SA’s The Biggest Loser, co-presenter on Doctor’s Orders as well as the health and wellness consultant on SABC 3’s daily morning show, Expresso, Lisa is fast becoming South Africa’s unofficial face of wellness and healthy living.

Lisa enjoys writing for magazines and newspapers countrywide, talking on local radio stations, and added ‘author’ to her list of credits in 2011, with her best seller, No Fries On Us, written with Darren Scott. Her self-published ebook titled The Belly Book is due for release later in 2018, which is dedicated to helping individuals understand and target that stubborn abdominal fat once and for all. As a new mom, Lisa has dedicated her first two years in this sphere to the creation of My Body Back – a holistic nutrition and exercise programme dedicated to helping moms get back in shape slowly, safely and sustainably. In perhaps her most exciting career yet, Lisa has been owning SA’s rebounding space, thanks to her new passion for the incredible health benefits of this discipline. She recently launched her own brand of rebounders: http://bit.ly/LRrebounder and has been regularly developing video workouts for fans to follow.

Passionate about bringing health to the public, Lisa started THE LIVERIGHT FOUNDATION, a non-profit organization that blankets various projects. SUNfit is the first of these, hosted by Lisa Raleigh for nine years, before the government asked them to step on board in the running of 25 Go Jozi Healthy Lifestyle Street Fairs, that took place in April and May, 2015.

One of Lisa’s projects, the well i am challenge, launched in February 2013. Here, corporates and consumers enter an online holistic 13-week wellness transformation challenge with all the luxuries thrown in, the tools and skills to create life-long change and an online community of resources to keep you motivated. well i am’s sixth challenge was completed in November 2016.

2014 also saw the debut of Lisa’s first international television production. After extensive production experience on ETV 2011’s Keep It Real, and 2013’s SERTA wellness show on Expresso and Doctor’s Orders. Lisa’s self-produced show titled ‘101 Exercises to Try Before you Die’ launched early in the year, her production company Media Fission has since produced more shows for the channel, all enjoying exposure in over 107 countries. Lisa self-produced and presented regular features on Expresso’s morning show between 2017-18 on SABC 3, and she is currently featuring on SABC News Channel’s new show, Trendz.
