Emotional Eating Webinar
Emotional Eating Webinar
Do you find yourself reaching for snacks and comfort foods when you’re feeling stressed, sad or lonely? Well, you’re not alone - trust me, we’ve all been there.
With the current state of the world, emotional eating is more common than ever before, and it often has little to do with hunger: emotional eaters tend to depend on food to fill an emotional void or feelings of emptiness. The urge to overeat has also been linked to stress, anxiety and depression.
Eating triggers specific hormones and reward centres in the brain. For this reason, overeating can also be addictive and lead to many mental and physical health problems such as:
- Obesity
- Type-2 Diabetes
- Heart problems
- Eating disorders
- Low self-esteem
If you often find yourself feeling uncomfortably full or reaching for that cookie jar a little too much, join me - and registered dietician, Carly Seager - for our Emotional Eating Webinar at 8PM on the 11th of April.
We’ll take you through all the potential causes and solutions for emotional eating. When it comes to kicking bad eating habits
